  • Manual Therapy: Defined as a clinical approach utilizing skilled, specific hands-on techniques, including but not limited to manipulation/mobilization, used by the physical therapist to diagnose and treat soft tissues and joint structures for the purpose of modulating pain; increasing range of motion (ROM); reducing or eliminating soft tissue inflammation; inducing relaxation; improving contractile and non-contractile tissue repair, extensibility, and/or stability; facilitating movement; and improving function.
Biomechanical Evaluation: Involves the evaluation of the entire kinetic chain of your body consisting of legs, hips and spine. We evaluate the angular relationships, range of motion, and dynamic interactions. We will assess your shoes, provide you with exercises and can mold and fit you with the proper orthotic.
Sports Injury Rehabilitation: Targets exercise and stretching as a vital portion for sporting injuries. We will ensure that you will be educated to prevent further injury, implement treatments, exercises for range of motion, strengthening, stability, flexibility, and return back to sporting activities as soon as possible.
Geriatric Care: Geriatric physical therapy addresses the complex needs of older people, focusing on health promotion and the prevention and treatment of disability in the elderly. We are highly trained in treatment for balance disorders, stroke rehabilitation, arthritis and joint replacements. We will educate you on fall prevention and how to set up your home to improve your safety.
Pediatric Care: Assists in early detection of health problems. We specialize in diagnosis, treatment, and management of infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of congenital, developmental, neuromuscular, skeletal, or acquired disorders/diseases. Treatments focus on improving gross and fine motor skills, balance and coordination, strength and endurance as well as cognitive and sensory processing/integration. Children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and torticollis are a few of the patients treated by pediatric physical therapists.
Acute Care: Therapy for the patient while they are in the hospital to help improve their ability to get up from a chair, in and out of bed and walking so they can return to their home environment.
Women's Health: Provides one on one therapy to help women with incontinence, lymphedema, fibriomyalgia, low back pain during and after pregnancy, post breast surgery rehab, pelvic floor dysfunction and pain.
